• Dynasty: Belmont girls rugby team claims ninth consecutive state title (bostonherald.com) — Weymouth High’s girls rugby team fell 36–24 to powerhouse Belmont in the state championship match at Quincy’s Veterans Memorial Stadium, ending a strong season against a nine-time champion. Belmont’s attack repeatedly broke through the Wildcats’ defense despite multiple tries and conversions from Weymouth players who kept the game competitive into the second half.
