• Wilmington may ban large data centers (bostonherald.com) — Wilmington officials are weighing a new zoning bylaw that would effectively ban large AI-focused data centers in town while still allowing smaller facilities under 2 megawatts in industrial zones by special permit. Residents can weigh in at a Sept. 29 Planning Board hearing, as the town responds to statewide shifts in data-center rules and concerns over heavy power and water use.
