• Feds award $140M for major Haverhill Commuter Line improvement project (homenewshere.com) — A new $139.6 million federal grant will fund double-tracking on the Haverhill commuter rail line between Reading and Andover, with improvements planned at North Wilmington, Ballardvale, Andover, and Reading stations. For Wilmington riders, the project promises fewer delays, better accessibility, and more reliable service into Boston once the upgrades are completed.
