City Of Worcester Hiring For More Than 3 Dozen Jobs
Worcester is hiring for positions across several municipal departments.
WORCESTER, MA — The city of Worcester is hiring for positions across several municipal departments, including public health, public works, libraries, technology and schools.
The city listed 38 open jobs as of Thursday, including full-time, part-time, seasonal and temporary roles, according to the city's employment opportunities page.
Openings include director of public health, cybersecurity manager, data and analytics architect, assistant veterans agent, branch manager, career counselor, environmental analyst, parking control officer and youth services branch library assistant, according to the city.
The city is also seeking workers for several labor service jobs, including motor equipment repairman, public works laborer/motor equipment operator, tree climber, full-sized school bus driver, fire apparatus repairman and cafeteria helper.
Most listed positions are open until filled. Applicants can click each job title on the city's website for department information, job descriptions, wages and application instructions, according to Worcester officials.
The city said full-time, part-time and internship positions are available. Worcester employees receive benefits including paid vacation and sick days, paid holidays and group health insurance, according to the city. Preference is given to Worcester residents.
