First Watch, Caffè Nero Among New Retailers Coming To Central MA Shopping Center

MILLBURY, MA — A new wave of businesses has been announced for the growing lineup at The Shops at Blackstone Valley.

Caffè Nero, Topcoat Nail Bar & Spa, Lovesac and First Watch are scheduled to open at the Worcester-Providence Turnpike shopping center in 2027, according to an announcement Wednesday from the property.

Caffè Nero, Topcoat Nail Bar & Spa and furniture retailer Lovesac will occupy space in two new buildings constructed as part of a nearly 35,000-square-foot expansion.

Patch previously reported that the expansion was expected to bring about 10 businesses to the open-air shopping center. Shake Shack, Sweetgreen and LaserAway were among the first tenants announced for the project.

Yard House opened in one of the new buildings in June. First Watch, which specializes in breakfast, brunch and lunch, will open across from the two-building expansion.

The announcement follows several other recent additions to the property, including Apple, Coach and Aerie.

Food hall and delivery company Wonder also recently opened at the shopping center. The business allows customers to combine food from more than 20 restaurant concepts in a single order.

Avvio Ristorante is expected to open its first Massachusetts location at the property this fall. The Rhode Island-based Italian restaurant will occupy the former UNO Pizzeria and Grill space at 70 Worcester-Providence Turnpike, Suite 441.
