Popular Pretzel Shop Opens Another Worcester Location
The national pretzel chain has opened a second Worcester location months after announcing plans to expand in the city.
WORCESTER, MA — A national pretzel chain has opened a second Worcester location months after announcing plans to expand in the city.
Wetzel’s Pretzels opened its newest location inside the Walmart Supercenter at 25 Tobias Boland Way. The business is best known for its hand-rolled soft pretzels, bite-sized Wetzel Bitz, pretzel-wrapped hot dogs and specialty items including cinnamon and pepperoni pretzels.
Back in January, Wetzel’s Pretzels filed a request for a Common Victualer license proposing the location. At the time, the business told Patch that the store would open in the fall of 2026.
This comes more than a year after the chain joined forces with Cold Stone Creamery and Planet Smoothie to open a tri-brand location at 531 Main St.
The bakery chain operates at least three other locations in Massachusetts, including ones in Braintree, Peabody and another in Chicopee, which is listed as coming soon.
