The local numbers came as statewide closed sales also rose in June.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester’s housing market saw more closed sales in June as prices continued to rise.

The city recorded 101 closed home sales in June, up 13.5 percent from the same month in 2025, while the median sales price rose 5.5 percent to $479,999, according to housing data from the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS.

There were 131 homes for sale in Worcester in June, down 4.4 percent year over year.

The local numbers came as statewide closed sales also rose in June. Single-family closed sales across Massachusetts increased 7 percent from June 2025, while condominium sales increased 9.1 percent, according to the association’s July 13 housing report.

Statewide single-family median prices fell 1.4 percent year over year to $715,000, while condominium median prices rose 1.7 percent to $590,000, according to the report.

Massachusetts Association of REALTORS President Kristen Keegan said in the report that the increase in new listings and sales activity followed a slower winter and spring market.
