Worcester Outpatient Rehab Center Opens On Elm Street
A new outpatient treatment center for addiction and mental health care has opened in downtown Worcester.

WORCESTER, MA — A new outpatient treatment center for addiction and mental health care has opened in downtown Worcester.
Recovery Centers of America held a ribbon-cutting Thursday for its new outpatient rehab location at 70 Elm St. The center will serve adults seeking treatment for substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health disorders, according to Recovery Centers of America.
The Worcester site offers outpatient treatment meant for people who need structured care while continuing with work, school, family or other daily responsibilities, RCA said. Services include an Extended Day Program, Day Program and Medication-Assisted Treatment.
The location also offers virtual and hybrid treatment options.
Worcester police Officers John Alers and Angela Lookwhy attended the ribbon cutting.
The Worcester Department of Public Health maintains substance use resources online, including information about naloxone, which can temporarily reverse an opioid overdose. The city says residents should still call 911 during an overdose, according to the Worcester Department of Public Health.
