Worcester Street Repairs Set To Detour Morning Traffic
Sewer repairs are expected to impact morning traffic.
WORCESTER, MA - Street repairs at 168 Burncoat St. are set to detour southbound traffic Wednesday morning, Jan. 15, the city of Worcester announced on X.
A contractor hired by the department of public works will begin repair efforts on the sewer service in that area, and the efforts are expected to take one week weather permitting.
The work will not start until 8:15 a.m. in order to prevent interfering with school drop offs. The work will run from then through 1:30 p.m. From then through 2:15 p.m., two-way traffic will run through the construction site to ease student dismissals.
