• Michigan Gaming Control Board raids Adrian business (rgtonline.com) — State investigators recently raided Games 4 U on Treat Highway in Adrian, seizing dozens of gambling machines, cash, and gift cards after a joint probe into alleged illegal gaming. Assisted by Madison Township police, regulators stress that everyone connected remains presumed innocent while the case moves through Michigan’s courts and highlight potential penalties for unlawful gambling operations.
• Adrian Steel expansion earns conditional city approval (lenconnect.com) — Adrian Steel has secured conditional city approval for a $43.4 million expansion on James Street that’s expected to add at least 40 jobs and boost the local industrial tax base. City planners attached conditions on truck parking, utilities, and fire safety, and the project still needs a variance from the Adrian Zoning Board of Appeals before construction can move forward.
