• Iron River man killed in Baraga County semi crash (dailypress.net) — A deadly three-vehicle crash on M-28 in Baraga County near Covington Township killed a 67-year-old Iron River man and briefly knocked out power while crews replaced a broken utility pole. Traffic was disrupted for hours Sunday as first responders, utilities, and towing companies from across Baraga County worked together to extinguish the truck fire, clear the scene, and restore service.
