This gathering is part of the No Kings: Vote Early National Day of Action, a nationwide mobilization promoting early voting (where available), voter registration, and election integrity. The Canton event is organized by members of Belleville Area Friends Indivisible (BAFI) and welcomes participants from Belleville, Canton, Plymouth, Van Buren Township, Sumpter Township, Ypsilanti, and surrounding communities.
With early voting in Michigan beginning on October 24, the event aims to help every eligible voter make a plan to vote early, understand their voting options, and connect with local efforts dedicated to safeguarding election access. Casting a ballot early is one of the most effective ways voters can ensure their voices are heard before Election Day.
No Kings: Vote Early will offer training, resources, and guidance to help community members navigate voting procedures and prepare for potential challenges on Election Day and beyond. The event is designed to reflect the community’s needs, culture, and shared commitment to strengthening election protection efforts.
