2 Teens Injured In E Bike Crash With Pickup Truck In Oakland County: Police
The driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, according to police.
BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Two 13-year-old boys were injured after they were hit by a pickup while riding electric bikes in Bloomfield Township on Monday, according to police.
The crash happened around noon Monday in the crosswalk of Telegraph Road and Hickory Grove in Bloomfield Township, according to police.
Police said the teens were crossing the intersection on electric bikes when a Ford F-250 that was traveling south on Telegraph Road hit them.

Both 13-year-old boys were taken to nearby hospitals where they were listed in critical condition, according to police.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 35-year-old Rochester Hills man, stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, according to police.

Witnesses told police they believe the pickup truck driver had the green light when he struck the boys.
Police did not release any other details as they are still investigating the crash.
