• Corunna woman pleads guilty to sharing explicit image of her young child (argus-press.com) — A Burton man is facing multiple felony charges in Genesee County after investigators linked him to sexually abusive images involving a Corunna woman’s young child. The case surfaced when his roommate reported disturbing content to Burton police, who then worked with state and county agencies to investigate and move the case toward trial and sentencing. 
• Livingston Physician Organization receives Priority Health grant (thelivingstonpost.com) — Burton residents with diabetes could soon find eye care easier to access, as Genesys Physician Hospital Organization in Burton received funding to add in-office retinal screening at select primary care offices. The grant, part of Priority Health’s new mini-grant program, aims to catch diabetic eye disease earlier and reduce barriers to this important preventive exam.
