• Applications open for Rx Kids in various Genesee County communities (mlive.com) — Expectant and new mothers living in Burton can now apply for Rx Kids, a cash-aid program that provides $1,500 during pregnancy and $500 a month for a baby’s first six months. Open to several Genesee County communities, the program aims to ease financial stress during pregnancy and early infancy for families meeting residency and timing requirements.
