Backed by state and local blight-elimination funds, the project supports Main Street revitalization and will start publicizing application details once leasing procedures and eligibility rules are finalized.

Investigators are still seeking video, cell phone data, and the vehicle involved while the family awaits a final autopsy report and an understaffed prosecutor’s office monitors the case.

• Bradford Walter Bell (wlen.com) — Family and friends are mourning 75-year-old Bradford Walter Bell, whose son Michael lives in Cassopolis, after Brad passed away June 3 at Henry Ford Hospice House in Jackson.
