Work from the Charlevoix Fisheries Research Station, including egg sampling and gill net surveys, will guide future decisions on trout, salmon, and other key species that matter to local anglers and the regional economy. ā¢ Residents of 33 Michigan counties now eligible for tax extension relief (mlive.com) ā If you live or run a business in Charlevoix County, youāre now eligible to request extra time to file and pay your Michigan taxes because of recent severe weather. The state will waive penalties and interest for qualifying taxpayers, but you must proactively contact the Treasury Department and briefly explain how you were affected.
