• Chelsea schools revise cellphone policy, opening door to limited use outside of class (mlive.com) — Chelsea school leaders have eased their year-old cellphone ban, letting administrators decide whether lunch and passing time count as "instructional time," which could allow limited student phone use during the day. The change keeps Chelsea in compliance with Michigan's new statewide restrictions while responding to student and parent concerns about safety, communication, and medical or special-education needs.
