Chelsea City Council to consider rejecting bids for City Hall renovation (280living.com) — Chelsea City Council is set to decide whether to reject all over-budget bids for renovating Chelsea City Hall and restart the process with a redesigned project. Council members will also consider closing a special American Rescue Plan bank account now that all federal funds allocated to Chelsea have been spent. 
2. Wellness Coalition Calls for Grant Proposals (thesuntimesnews.com) — Local nonprofits, schools, and municipalities serving the Chelsea area can now apply for wellness grants from the Chelsea Friends & Family Wellness Coalition, which has nearly $49,000 to award through March 2028. Chelsea Enters Into Public Parking Agreement With JIFFY (thesuntimesnews.com) — Downtown Chelsea drivers will keep access to key public parking lots thanks to a renewed lease between the city and Chelsea Milling Company, adding 41 more spaces behind the fire station. City officials say the $1-per-year agreement helps ease pressure while they work on longer-term parking strategies with local businesses as the community grows.

Chelsea sees 40.1% jump in Medicaid Dental Services payments for 2024 (annarbortimes.com) — Medicaid dental spending in Chelsea jumped 40.1% in 2024, with local providers billing about $28,400, almost all tied to ZIP code 48118. Officials link the rise to broader growth in Medicaid use, even as recent federal policy changes could pressure future funding for low-income residents' care.
