• Dexter Downs Monroe in SEC Red Opener (thesuntimesnews.com) — A Friday night SEC Red football matchup between Dexter and Monroe was relocated to Chelsea after storms knocked out power at Dexter's Al Ritt Stadium, turning Chelsea into the neutral host site. Dexter capitalized on key defensive plays and backup quarterback Gavin Davis's passing to secure a 21-7 win and give new head coach Rob Schwartz his first victory.
