• JPC, Highland announce all-conference baseball/softball teams (themorningsun.com) — Clare High School baseball and softball players earned multiple all-conference honors this spring, including first-team spots for Dane Alexander and pitcher Kyley Wyman. Dozens of athletes from Clare, Beal City, Farwell, Harrison, Shepherd and St. Louis were recognized across first team, second team and honorable mention lists in the Jack Pine and Highland conferences.
   

• Diocese of Saginaw schools receive $330K in annual endowment funds (mlive.com) — Catholic schools and parishes serving Clare County are among those sharing $330,000 in new endowment disbursements from the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid Michigan.
