• Invasive Box Tree Moth Reaches Michigan's Genesee County (mix957gr.com) — Clinton-area gardeners should know that Clinton County is already within Michigan's quarantine zone for the invasive box tree moth, and Genesee County has just been added. State officials warn the moth's caterpillars can strip and kill ornamental boxwoods in yards. Residents are urged to watch for chewed leaves and green-yellow caterpillars, report sightings online, and avoid moving boxwood plants or clippings out of the quarantine zone.
