• Comstock Park church being converted to housing (fox17online.com) — A former church in Comstock Park is being transformed into two three-bedroom rental units, adding much-needed housing right across from Dwight Lydell Park. Developer Andrew Boehm worked with Plainfield Township to meet modern safety codes in the 80-year-old building, and neighbors are already reacting to the bold black exterior. Rents are expected to run around $1,800–$2,000 per month.
