Woman Killed In Wayne County Hit-And-Run Crash: Police

Police said the 69-year-old woman was crossing the road within a crosswalk area when she was fatally struck.

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, MI — A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash Sunday night in Wayne County, according to police.

The crash happened at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at Telegraph and Schoolcraft roads in Redford Township, according to police.

Police said the 69-year-old woman was walking across the intersection when she was fatally struck by a vehicle moving east on Schoolcraft Road.

The driver did not stop. Police did not release a description of the car.
