• Dexter Community Schools' Safety Reminder about E-Bikes and E-Motos (thesuntimesnews.com) — Dexter Community Schools is warning families to brush up on Michigan's rules for e-bikes and e-motos as more students ride these faster electric bikes around town. With input from the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, the superintendent explains legal classifications, helmet and age requirements, and where different vehicles can and cannot be ridden, urging parents to review safety expectations with their kids. 
• August 2026 - The Sun Times News (thesuntimesnews.com) — If you live in Dexter Township, deputies handled 147 calls in August, including more traffic stops and citations than last year but slightly fewer crashes. Most incidents were routine complaints and fraud cases, giving residents a clear snapshot of local enforcement trends and where speeding and registration issues are drawing tickets.
