• Sheriff seeking help for surviving farm animals after sheep found dead on abandoned property (mlive.com) — Just north of Flint, Genesee County deputies found dead and starving farm animals on an abandoned Mt. Morris Township property, and now they're urgently seeking rescues or residents who can house surviving goats and sheep. Animal control lacks long-term farm capacity, so locals able to help are asked to contact Genesee County Animal Care while investigators pursue possible animal neglect charges.
