The MTA is keeping fares the same and asking residents for feedback at two open houses Thursday at the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library.

Big Brothers Big Sisters to honor community champions at 2026 Big Celebration in Flint (mlive.com) — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flint & Genesee County is hosting its 2026 Big Celebration on Friday, Nov. 13 at St. Michael's Conference & Event Center in Flint, honoring mentors and community partners who support local youth. Tickets are $75, with proceeds funding mentoring programs serving about 500 Flint and Genesee County children each year.
