Keith Urban to Perform At Ally Challenge in Grand Blanc (99wfmk.com) ā Keith Urban is coming to Grand Blanc this summer for the Ally Community Concert at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club, part of the Ally Challenge tournament. The weeklong event runs August 24ā30, with Urban performing Saturday, August 29, and tickets starting at $15 go on sale this Friday morning through the Ally Challenge website.

Meet the 2026 Michigan all-state Associated Press Division 1 girls basketball team (mlive.com) ā Grand Blanc standout Parc Liggins earned Division 1 all-state honors after a stellar 2025-26 season, averaging nearly 20 points plus strong all-around stats. The statewide Associated Press team also spotlights top players and coaches from across Michigan, including state champion Muskegon and Miss Basketball winner Lilly Williams of Howell.

Nearly 43 years later, case of Flint teen killed in 1983 is solved (midmichigannow.com) ā State police say advanced DNA testing has finally identified the man responsible for killing 16-year-old Sheri Jo Elliott in 1983, bringing long-awaited answers to her family. Investigators say the suspect, who recently died, had been living in Grand Blanc, and college students in Western Michigan Universityās Cold Case Program helped detectives reexamine and organize crucial evidence.
