• Mary Ann Lawlis (grossepointenews.com) — Longtime Grosse Pointe Woods resident Mary Ann (Guzicki) Lawlis, 96, has passed away after more than 50 years in the community and devoted service to St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church. A Marygrove College graduate and Detroit Institute of Arts docent, she is remembered for her artistic talents, love of travel, and deep commitment to her large family.
