• Hamtramck fires city manager, fourth change in top job in under a year (detroitnews.com) — Hamtramck’s city council has fired City Manager Adel Al-Adlani after just five months, the fourth change in the city’s top administrative job in under a year. Council members clashed over his performance, with some citing numerous alleged violations and others defending his adherence to rules. The mayor now worries the turmoil will deter strong candidates from applying to lead Hamtramck. 
• Locomotive Earn Point in 1-1 Road Draw Against Detroit City FC (kvia.com) — A USL Championship crowd in Hamtramck saw Detroit City FC battle El Paso Locomotive to a weather-delayed 1–1 draw at Keyworth Stadium, with Detroit equalizing early in the second half. Despite Detroit’s pressure and 26 shots, Locomotive’s defense held firm. The result keeps Detroit from claiming all three points at home.
