• Intoxication suspected as factor in head-on crash in Lapeer County, two hospitalized (midmichigannow.com) — An Imlay City woman and another driver were hospitalized after a head-on collision Tuesday afternoon on Imlay City Road near Mitchell Lake Road in Attica. Deputies say multiple 911 callers reported a silver sedan driving erratically before the crash, and investigators are looking into possible impairment while both drivers remain in stable condition. 
• Blue Water Area girls basketball players on 2026 Michigan Sports Writers all-state teams (thetimesherald.com) — Imlay City basketball standout Alexis Bruyere has been named to the Michigan Sports Writers Division 2 all-state second team after a huge junior season, including topping 1,000 career points.
