• Tornado warning issued for Lansing area. What's happening now (lansingstatejournal.com) — A tornado warning is in effect tonight for parts of Ionia County, with storms capable of producing tornadoes and 70 mph winds moving east from near Lake Odessa and Portland. Residents are urged to move immediately to a basement or interior room away from windows and be prepared for possible tree, roof, and power line damage as the storm approaches the Lansing area.
