• Northern Michigan girls win Border Bash (yourdailyglobe.com) — Ironwood hosted the Kiwanis Club Border Bash, where Northern Michigan’s girls All-Stars outlasted Northern Wisconsin 121-108 in a high-scoring showcase. Local fans at the Lindquist Center saw standout performances from several Upper Peninsula players, including MVP Janessa Eagle, as both teams traded big runs before Michigan pulled away late.
