• ‘Buzz The Gut' car show to return for its 24th year (uppermichiganssource.com) — Ishpeming car lovers can head to the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum this Saturday for the 24th Buzz The Gut Shine and Show, complete with a huge vehicle display, parade, and evening dance. Admission is free, with food, prizes, and commemorative T‑shirts available for families making a night of it.

• Marquette photographer B.F. Childs recalled (miningjournal.net) — A 19th-century photographer who once ran studios in Ishpeming left behind hundreds of images capturing local streets, mines, and buildings that still document the community’s early days. His Ishpeming studio operated for more than a century, and much of his work now lives in Marquette County historical collections.
