• Village council authorizes agreement for cross-connection control program (lakeorionreview.com) — Lake Orion’s Village Council has approved a multi-year contract with HydroCorp to tighten cross-connection inspections and protect the village water supply from contamination. Residents and businesses will receive notices for required inspections, and those who refuse could face water shutoffs as the village works to meet state drinking water standards.

• ‘Once a Dragon, always a Dragon' (lakeorionreview.com) — More than 500 Lake Orion High School seniors celebrated graduation Sunday at Pine Knob, marking the Class of 2026’s transition from Dragons to alumni. Speakers from Lake Orion Community Schools highlighted the students’ resilience through pandemic-era schooling and urged them to follow their own paths while staying connected to their hometown roots.
