• IR man, 67, killed in crash with tractor-trailer in Baraga County (ironmountaindailynews.com) — A deadly three-vehicle crash on M-28 in Covington Township Sunday afternoon shut the highway for hours and brought in both L’Anse Police and L’Anse Fire for mutual aid. A 67-year-old Iron River man died at the scene, while the tractor-trailer driver escaped with minor injuries as crews from multiple agencies and utilities worked late into the night to restore traffic and power.
