• What Roth's Watching: Lansing Flock camera debate, MSU students return to campus and more (wkar.org) — Lansing residents may soon see City Council vote on a resolution urging the mayor and police to end contracts for Flock automated license plate cameras and pause similar AI surveillance until privacy rules are set. The same week, East Lansing prepares for MSU students' return after last year's policing controversies, Aurelius Township's library deal heads to a key vote, and Sen. Gary Peters' farewell motorcycle tour ends in East Lansing. 
• Large police presence seen in DeWitt Township neighborhood (wlns.com) — Law enforcement from multiple agencies swarmed a DeWitt Township neighborhood near Lansing on Sunday after a person appeared to barricade themselves inside a home. Roads, including part of East State Road, were blocked as officers tried to make contact and ultimately appeared to arrest someone, with authorities promising more details as this developing situation becomes clearer.
