• City of Lowell Anticipates Flooding Along the Grand River (lowellsfirstlook.com) — Flooding along the Grand River is expected to make parts of South Jackson Street impassable this weekend, and Lowell officials are urging nearby residents to move valuables from lower levels. While the crest is projected to be lower than 2013’s flood, some Main Street businesses may see water in their lots, and residents are encouraged to follow updates on the city’s Facebook page and Text MyGov alerts.

The dominant win sets up a high-stakes home showdown against Calvin University this Saturday, where Hope can clinch a share of the MIAA title and top tournament seed.
