• Feeding America West Michigan to visit Marquette County church (uppermichiganssource.com) — Marquette County residents needing food assistance can get help at a drive-thru mobile pantry at Silver Creek Church in Harvey, running Thursday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. or until supplies run out. Guests are asked to stay in their vehicles and leave space cleared for volunteers to load food. 
• LWV honors alternative high school teacher (miningjournal.net) — A Marquette Alternative High School teacher has been honored by the League of Women Voters of Marquette County for helping students understand voting and democracy while leading hands-on community projects.
