• Marinette Man Sentenced After Threatening, Attacking Teens In Menominee (radioresultsnetwork.com) — A Marinette man has been sentenced to five to ten years in prison after a Menominee County jury convicted him for a violent confrontation with three teenagers at Lighthouse Park in Menominee. Prosecutors say he threatened the teens with a chain, then chased them at high speeds before crashing near Tenth Street, prompting a judge to call the evidence overwhelming and stress the risk to public safety.
   

• Greenwood will lead The Fuller Center housing group (ehextra.com) — A regional housing nonprofit serving the River Cities area has named Rachel Greenwood as its new executive director, bringing a leader who has served on City of Menominee boards and volunteered locally for more than a decade. • Gov. Whitmer seeks presidential disaster declaration to help Montcalm County, other areas impacted by severe weather (thedailynews.cc) — Menominee County is among dozens of Michigan counties included in Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s request for a federal disaster declaration after April’s severe storms, flooding, and tornadoes. If approved by the president, the move could bring federal assistance to help repair damaged infrastructure and support local governments, homeowners, and renters still recovering from the spring flooding.
