The district is keeping its findings, adjusting locker room use for visiting teams, and promising to review procedures and improve transparency as community questions continue.

• Monroe Father, Son Encounter Whales During 3,000-Mile Atlantic Ocean Race (patch.com) — Monroe residents Greg and Elliot Collins recently completed a grueling 3,000-mile Atlantic rowing race, where they unexpectedly found themselves beside a family of 30-foot sperm whales. The father-son duo spent more than 45 days at sea, rowing 12 hours a day as part of the four-person Get Busy Rowing team, which also raised money for a sports-injury charity.
