ā¢ Adopt a Beach cleanup events planned throughout the next month (wsjm.com) ā New Buffalo residents can join an Adopt a Beach cleanup at New Buffalo City Beach on August 20, part of a larger plastic-removal effort on Lake Michigan. The Alliance for the Great Lakes is also seeking local team leaders, offering online training and encouraging residents to host their own cleanups at nearby beaches, parks, trails, and marinas.
