• New Buffalo Township moves to pause data centers (harborcountry-news.com) — New Buffalo Township has enacted a one-year pause on new data center development, giving officials time to rethink zoning before any large industrial projects move in. The move follows a major land purchase near Whittaker Woods and reflects worries about water, sewer capacity, tourism, and neighborhood character. During the moratorium, leaders will study how to guide future growth without ruling out projects forever.
