• Mona Shores turns in gutsy performance, captures GMAA baseball title from the defending champ Fruitport (legalnews.com) — North Muskegon’s baseball team saw its GMAA title hopes end when Mona Shores beat the Norse 4-1 in the semifinals behind a dominant outing from pitcher Owen Tornga. Mona Shores then went on to edge Fruitport 3-1 in an extra-innings thriller at Marsh Field, claiming their first city championship since 2022.
