• DTE Energy works to restore power to 265K customers; 145K restored (theoaklandpress.com) — Powerful storms knocked out electricity across Rochester Hills and the nearby Village of Rochester, leaving many homes and businesses dark along Tienken, Adams, Squirrel, Walton, and Rochester roads. DTE says 145,000 customers have already been restored and aims to have 90% of affected customers back on by Saturday, while urging residents to stay clear of downed lines and use generators safely.
