Popular Canadian Dessert Chain Opens New Royal Oak Shop

ROYAL OAK, MI — Mr. Puffs, a popular Canadian dessert chain, opened a new shop in Royal Oak on Thursday.
The new shop is located at 31971 Woodward Ave. in Royal Oak. It is the chain's first U.S. location.
Mr. Puffs is best known for its Greek loukoumades, which are made with vegan, yeast-risen batter and fried and glazed to order.

The loukoumades are served hot and crispy with a drizzle of honey or dipped in honey syrup.
Sometimes, the loukoumades are referred to as Greek doughnuts.

The menu will also include milkshakes, sundaes, artisanal hot chocolate and the company’s Mount Olympus dessert.
The first shop opened in 2004 and has locations in much of eastern Canada.
The shop's hours are expected to be Monday–Thursday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday–Saturday: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday: 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
