Saginaw Township schools launch survey after third bond proposal defeat (wnem.com) — After Saginaw Township voters rejected a school bond proposal for the third time, the school district is asking parents, staff, and taxpayers to complete an online survey about what it would take to win their support. Superintendent Jamie Kraatz says responses will guide how future proposals are shaped, stressing that the community’s economic health and neighborhood appeal are closely tied to the strength of Saginaw Township schools.

STARS to hold public hearing for input on potential route changes (wnem.com) — Bus riders in Saginaw are being asked to weigh in on proposed STARS route changes that would combine Routes 2 and 4, and 3 and 11. The dramatic upgrades at Michigan state parks are nearly complete — here's where $273M went (mlive.com) — Saginaw-area nature lovers now benefit from a $1.5 million renovation of the Saginaw Bay Visitor Center at Bay City State Park, part of a $273 million overhaul of Michigan state parks. Upgrades statewide include new boardwalks, visitor centers, utilities, and accessibility improvements that aim to make camping and day trips safer and more enjoyable.
