2. Saline Community Fair Celebrates 90 Years: Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future (thesuntimesnews.com) — Saline's 90th annual Community Fair returns Sept. 2–6, with rides on Sept. 7 at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds on Ann Arbor-Saline Road. Organizers are marking the fair's long local history with special displays, a scavenger hunt, and anniversary souvenirs while also highlighting youth agriculture, robotics, and hands-on learning like monarch raising and maple syrup tapping.

GOLF: Saline Girls Take 1st On Ella Sharp Course (thesalinepost.com) — Saline High's varsity girls golf team opened the 2026 season in style, winning the East Jackson Invitational at Ella Sharp Golf Course. Playing a two-person scramble format, the Hornets' three pairs combined for a 242, with Ella Aagesen and Sam Langkos leading the way with a 74 and second-place overall finish.

Top high schools in Michigan for 2026 ranked by U.S. News and World Report (ourmidland.com) — Saline High School is ranked #561 nationally and among Michigan's top high schools in the latest U.S. News & World Report list, giving local families a fresh benchmark for academic performance. The statewide rankings highlight how Saline compares with other leading public, charter, and STEM schools across Michigan.
