• Internal review underway of police response after 'unruly crowd' disrupts St. Clair Shores Harper Cruise (audacy.com) — Police are reviewing body camera and social media video after breaking up what they called an unruly crowd of about 500 people near Nino Salvaggio's during Wednesday night's Harper Cruise in St. Clair Shores. Officers from six nearby agencies helped disperse teens and young adults reportedly riding recklessly, with one arrest and one reported felonious assault as the department conducts an internal review of its response. 
• Dakota's cross country teams open with top 10 finishes at Benzie Invitational (macombdaily.com) — St. Clair Shores Lakeview's boys tennis team battled Macomb Dakota to a 4-4 draw, highlighted by strong doubles wins and a gritty finish despite two injury defaults.
