American Axle workers reach tentative agreement to end strike in Three Rivers (wwmt.com) — Workers at Dauch Corporation in Three Rivers, formerly American Axle, have reached a tentative agreement after a 10‑day strike, with raises totaling 30% over four years and no health‑care premium hikes. UAW members will now review the offer, which also adds paid holidays and more Christmas time off, before voting on whether to end the walkout.

Meet Up and Eat Up programs begin – WLKM Radio 95.9 FM (wlkm.com) — Families in Three Rivers can access free summer meals for kids at Three Rivers High School on Wednesdays and at The Huss Project weekdays, alongside similar Meet Up and Eat Up sites across St. Joseph County. The program offers set breakfast and lunch times in nearby towns too, helping ensure children are fed while school is out.

MSU Extension's First Strawberry Day Coming July 8 (morningagclips.com) — Strawberry growers and farm market operators in the Three Rivers area can join MSU Extension’s free Strawberry Day on July 8, with an afternoon of agritourism and direct-sales training at Corey Lake Orchards in Three Rivers. Attendance is capped at 50, and the day includes expert-led field sessions, lunch, dessert, and a tour focused on boosting on-farm sales.

American Axle Strikers Set to Win $30 by '30 (labornotes.org) — American Axle workers in Three Rivers are still on the picket line as they review a tentative contract that would raise all plant wages to $30 an hour by 2030. Local UAW leaders say the deal helps reverse deep cuts from 2008, could reduce turnover at the 1,000‑worker plant, and underscores Three Rivers’ importance in General Motors’ truck supply chain.

Pride celebration continues in Three Rivers with June drag show (watershedvoice.com) — A June 20 drag show at the Riviera Theatre and Bar will give Three Rivers residents a way to celebrate Pride Month even without the usual festival this year. Organized by Three Rivers Pride and the Kunty Kittens, the event will raise funds for future LGBTQIA+ programming while the group rebuilds its capacity and recruits new volunteers for a hoped‑for 2027 festival return.
