• Wayne County offering assistance for delinquent property taxpayers (thenewsherald.com) — Wayne County homeowners behind on property taxes still have a short window to lock in sharply reduced interest through the Interest Reduction Stipulated Payment Agreement, which ends June 30 unless lawmakers extend it. If you live in your home as a principal residence and qualify, you can cut interest from 18% to 6% and get in-person help at the county treasurer’s Detroit office.
