Oakland County Man Caught With Hundreds Of Child Porn Images: Prosecutor

WIXOM, MI — A 27-year-old Wixom man is facing charges after police caught him with hundreds of child porn images, according to prosecutors.

David Grosh was charged with three counts of aggravated child sexually abusive activity and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

He was placed in jail with a $500,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled for Oct. 6.

If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison for each aggravated child sexually abusive activity charge and up to 20 years each for the using a computer to commit a crime charge.

Investigators found the child porn images during a search warrant for Grosh's cell phone as part of a separate investigation.

They discovered images of child sexual abuse, including hundreds of images and videos of child sexual abuse with some material depicting prepubescent children.

"Every image uncovered represents unspeakable abuse of young children," Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said. "This defendant’s alleged activity makes him complicit in that abuse. Holding him accountable helps protect the next child from becoming a victim."
